PTA Sponsored Parent / Child Book Club   In partnership with Ms. Tighe, the PTA is pleased to once again offer students and parents in grades 4 & 5 a Parent/Child Book Club.    This spring, we will read We Dream of Space, by Erin Entrada Kelly. A 2021 Newbery Honor Book, this captivating novel is about friendship, family, science, identity and exploration. These conversations, facilitated by Ms. Tighe and Branchville PTA Vice President Angela Rice, will take place in the BES library from 7:40 - 8:25 AM.  There will be three sessions on the following dates: 5/10, 5/17 and 5/24.    Please visit this link to review all the details and RSVP by May 1st.  Note that there are a limited number of slots available, so please register early if you would like to participate.   **IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARENTS: Please see the flyer for important details including mature themes featured in the book.**

Calling all parents! The PTA needs YOUR help. Did you know that virtually every single event that takes place at Branchville is made possible by the PTA, from the book fair to the Boogie, the gala to guest author events?   We are filling a number of volunteer positions for the next school year. Whether you are looking to get involved a little or a lot, we have got something for you. 3 reasons to reach out and get involved: You will be supporting events and initiatives that directly benefit your children and community.  You will meet new people and be the first to know what is happening at BES.  Volunteering feels good, and it doesn't have to be a heavy lft. Kindergarten Registration

RPS is excited to be a part of the milestone experience of kindergarten registration with our youngest students and their families. We ask that RPS families alert their neighbors, friends, etc. that kindergarten registration is open. Because of the change in CT's cut off date, prior planning will be particularly important this year so please enroll students ASAP.

The State of Connecticut announced a new cut off date so all children who reach the age of five (5) on or before September 1, 2024 are eligible for enrollment. RPS wants to work with families during this transition year. Please read all of the information here. The following dates might be helpful in preparing for this exciting rite of passage.
